Altun Ha Mayan Ruins: Explore Belize's most visited archaeological site, where the largest Jade Head was discovered. This ceremonial Mayan site offers a fascinating glimpse into ancient history.

Lamanai Mayan Ruins: Embark on a jungle boat ride to the "Submerged Crocodile" ruins. Along the way, you may encounter howler monkeys, spider monkeys, crocodiles, and various bird species—a true Indiana Jones experience.

Crooked Tree Bird Sanctuary: Ideal for bird enthusiasts, this early morning tour allows you to float along the Crooked Tree Lagoon, observing Belize's famous avian species in their natural habitat.

Question: What airport should I fly into for the retreat?
Answer: Fly into Belize International Airport (BZE), located just a 50-minute drive from the Abezza Resort, where we provide complimentary roundtrip transfers.

Question: What types of transportation are provided during the retreat?
Answer: We include roundtrip shared transfers from Belize International Airport as well as transportation to all included group excursions.

Question: What ages are recommended for children to participate in the retreat?
Answer: Our retreat welcomes families with children of all ages. We offer activities suitable for infants to teenagers, ensuring a family-friendly experience for everyone.

Question: What can I do during free time at the retreat?
Answer: During your free time, you can relax by the pool, enjoy spa treatments, take nature walks, explore local culture with additional tours, or simply soak in the beauty of the resort and its surroundings.

Question: What should I pack for the retreat?
Answer: Pack comfortable and casual clothes suitable for warm weather, including swimwear, hats, and sunscreen for outdoor activities. Also, bring any necessary personal items, especially for children, such as special bedding or pack and plays for infants.

Question: Can you explain the pricing details for the retreat?
Answer: Pricing is based on per-adult rates, with an additional cost for each child over two years to ensure everyone enjoys the same level of comfort and care. Toddlers under two years of age stay free, up to two per family; additional toddlers incur a $250 fee.

Question: What are the dining options available?
Answer: Three gourmet meals daily are included, prepared and made to order, catering to both children and adults with options for various dietary preferences, such as vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free, and dairy-free diets.

Question: What safety measures are in place at the retreat?
Answer: The resort adheres to high safety standards, including supervised activities for children and expert-led excursions. We ensure a secure environment so you can relax and enjoy your vacation without worries.

Question: Where is the closest Hospital to the Resort?
Answer: The closest hospital in case of emergency is a 40-minute drive from the resort, alternatively a doctor can come to the resort if need be for an additional cost. This is why travel insurance is SO important.

Question: Closest supermarket to the resort?
Answer: There is a supermarket that is right next to the airport and we will do our best to accommodate a trip there after you land in Belize. Trips are subject to flight times as market is not always open

Question: Do we need to bring snacks?
Answer: If you or your kids have something they love, it couldn't to bring extras. That being said there is a full restaurant at the resort and you can always order snacks a la carte if you find yourself hungry in between meal times.

Question: Are we in a safe area to walk around outside of the resort?
Answer: The resort is remote and the only thing nearby is the Mayan Ruins and a small local village . That being said there are ample walking paths and it is a very safe and family-friendly area.

Question: Is there wifi?
Answer: Part of the charm of our location is its remoteness. We encourage you to unplug as much as possible. There is some wifi in certain areas of the resort, but it is limited.
